How arrival to León to do the Way of St James
HOW ARRIVAL TO LEÓN:
BY ROUTE:
From the South of Spain you can acced from the carriageway A-6 (Madrid – A Coruña). When you arrive to Benavente you have to take the drift to the carriageway A-66. When you will be near to León there are two options: Acced to the beltway LE-20 or take the drift 149 in Onzonilla.
From the North of Spain you can acced from the motorway of Huerna AP-66, paying toll and with exit in the national route N-120. Also it is possible to take the exit by the route CL-623.
From the West of Spain you can arrive by the carriageway A-6 to arrive to Astorga where it is possible to continue by the motorway with toll AP-71or continue by the drift of the National route N-120.
From the East of Spain the best access is the motorway of Burgos A-231 with exit in the National route N-601, which we will arrive easily to the beltway of León.
BY TRAIN:
The Adif station, also know like Renfe station, is the most important in the city and it is the entrance door to León of the most of travellers that chose the train.
It has links between Madrid, Barcelona, Vigo, La Coruña, Alicante and Gijón.
People who life in the half South of Spain, haven’t problems to travel to León by train. Only it is necessary to do one transfer in the Madrid station and take one to León.

BY BUS:
The bus company that travel to León is ALSA, that offer links with the most of the capitals of the North of Spain and a part of Levante.
